Planners are winners! Read all the way to the end to see our cheapest flights cheat-sheet.

Planning Your Annual Leave

Here’s the list of Singapore public holidays in the second half of 2018:

National Day  9 Aug 2018 Thursday
Hari Raya Haji 22 Aug 2018 Wednesday
Deepavali 6 Nov 2018 Tuesday
Christmas Day 25 Dec 2018 Tuesday

For four days off, simply take one day of leave on these following dates:

  • 10 Aug (PH: 9 Aug, Thursday, National Day)
  • 5 Nov (PH: 6 Nov, Tuesday, Deepavali)
  • 24 Dec (PH: 25 Dec, Tuesday, Christmas Day)

For super long breaks, these are the dates you’ll want to mark down:

  • 10, 13-17, 20, and 21 Aug: Take eight days of leave to enjoy a massive 14-day break from 9 Aug (National Day) to 22 Aug (Hari Raya Haji).
  • 24, 26-28, and 31 Dec: Take five days of leave in return for an 11-day holiday over the Christmas and New year season from 22 Dec 2018 to 1 Jan 2019.

Taking the Kids Along

Is there anything better than seeing the world with your family? If you happen to have kids in school, you might realise that they have their own set of school holidays that you can take advantage of.

Here are the school holidays for Singaporean students for the rest of 2018:

End of School Year 24 Nov (Sat) - 31 Dec (Mon)*
